Qualifications & Competencies
• Create graphics, produce short videos and take photos to support marketing and promotional activities.
• Oversee all design projects and collections (garments, accessories and craft) from conception.
• Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software.
• Work closely with team members to ensure brand consistency while producing creative content for use in print, websites, social media and mailings. newsletters.
• Create internal and external campaign collateral.
• Manage the artistic aspect of photo shoots, shop window designs amongst others.
• Manage and constantly update our social media pages.
• Liaise with the buying and marketing team to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, developments and tools.
• Source fabrics and other materials as well as suppliers for production of collections.
Profile
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from a recognised institution or appropriate equivalent qualification in a corresponding field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field and work experience in the textile industry is a pre-requisite.
• Extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles and techniques.
• Fully conversant with Graphic Design software, such as Photoshop InDesign, QuarkXpress and Illustrator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills in both English and French.
• Self-starter and ability to self-manage workload, including taking initiative to propose creative projects.
• Organised and detail-oriented.
