Qualifications & Competencies
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness environment.
- Knowledge of various wellness and healing treatments.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Is directly responsible for the day-to-day key processes in his/her area of work.
• Assists his/her supervisor in executing the day to day operational requirements.
• Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model.
• Attends and actively participates in all scheduled training sessions.
• Actively offers operational, employee and customer (internal and external) related feedback to management.
• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule.
• Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards.
• Is seen as working hands-on, assist colleagues whenever necessary, including juice bar, retail and attendant coverage.
• Attends and actively participates in all scheduled training sessions, daily briefings and meetings.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment.
• Performs any other cognate duties as and when required.
Requirements
• Has 1–2 years of relevant experience in 5-star hotels or resorts.
• Fluent in both English and French.
• Flexible with schedule and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including overtime and adjust shift and/or off days according to operational requirements.
• Comfortable to operate computer programs.
• Able to carry trays of glasses and dishes and provide F&B service with proper etiquette.
• Possesses finesse, personal flair and interpersonal skills; knowledge in a relevant foreign language is preferred.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Adheres to company grooming standards.
• Ability to drive a buggy would be an advantage.
