JUNIOR AGRONOMIST

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining agronomic activities records up to date.
Assist in the supervision, and monitoring of basic agronomic activities.
Undertake field operations such as conduct sampling of soil, and plant materials as and when required.
Assist in the setting-up and follow-up of agronomic trials and research programs.
Effectively provide feedback on assigned tasks.
Provide meaningful assistance to the operations team as and when needed.
Assist in the implementation of sustainable agriculture technics.
Assist in the continuous improvement of the business productivity.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor degree in Agriculture or any other equivalent technical Qualification.
Knowledge in sugarcane farming would be an advantage.
Holder of a valid driver’s license.
Familiar with good and modern agriculture practices.
Good research and analytical skills.
Knowledge in sugarcane farming would be an advantage.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Organizational and planning ability with an administrative flair.
Able to work in team and encourage knowledge sharing.
