Qualifications & Competencies
Minimum Diploma in Hospitality or tourism Management
Excellent verbal and written communication,presentation and persuasion skills,including the ability to demonstrate diplomacy,tact and patience
Well versed in Mathematics and budgetary analysis
Good knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
Well organised,autonomous and detailed oriented
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the smooth operation of the reservations unit
Manage the reservations functionality of central reservations and revenue management systems ensuring accurate configuration data and reporting at all times
Input change and cancel reservations
Address all reservation enquiries positively,professionally and efficiently,ensuring outstanding service delivery and consistently to customers and partners
Use effective selling techniques to maximise hotel revenue
Experience
1+ year work experience in a similar capacity in 5 star resorts and in Revenue Management
